If you’ve ever been sailboat racing, you know that things can get pretty intense and people often shout incomprehensible phrases at each other. Here are my top 10 things to say to someone else when racing, or I suppose it is also the top 10 things I don’t want to hear someone else say to me on the racecourse!
- You can’t be there!
- No Overlap
- STARBOARD!
- LEEWARD!
- Coming Up!
- We are ladder rungs above them
- We are making trees on them
- AUTOTACK!
- Coming Up!
- I have no room to keep clear!
